Eddie Murphy will be accepted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame this month.
The NAACP declared Thursday that Murphy will be accepted during the March 27 function, which will air on CBS. The entertainer jokester will be introduced the honor by his long-lasting companion and “Coming 2 America” co-star Arsenio Hall.
The lobby of popularity enlistment is presented on a person who is seen as a pioneer in their individual field and whose impact formed the “calling for a long time into the future.”
Past inductees incorporate Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder, Spike Lee, Ray Charles and Sidney Poitier. The latest honorees to be accepted were Cheryl Boone Isaacs and Paris Barclay in 2014.

Murphy started his vocation as a professional comedian while a youngster and at last joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live.” He featured in the movies hit “48 Hours” and transformed a large number of movies, for example, “Beverly Hills Cop,” “Coming to America,” “The Nutty Professor,” “Dr. Dolittle” and “Dolemite Is My Name.” His most recent film “Coming 2 America” delivered on Amazon a week ago.
