Oldham Christie Cancer Centre

 

I am delighted that our campaign to bring a new Christie Cancer Centre to Oldham has been a sucess.

A new 17 million pound centre will be built at the Royal Oldham Hospital; saving patients the nightmare of having to travel for more than an hour to Christies in South Manchester for essential treatment.

 

This great news follows other exciting developments at the Hospital including a new stroke ward and breast cancer care unit. I will continue my work with the Council and Local NHS mangers to lobby government for a strong local NHS.
